Nathan Albert is a professional actor turned ordained preacher, pastor, podcaster, and author. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre Performance from Rockford University and spending years performing across the country, Nathan entered graduate school at North Park Theological Seminary to complete my Master of Divinity. Since then, he has worked as a pastor, campus minister, pediatric chaplain, and as the Director of Pastoral Care and Counseling at a non-profit.
Currently, Nathan is the Associate Chaplain in the Spiritual Life Center at the University of Lynchburg and has recently completed a Certificate in Spiritual Transformation from The Transforming Center. In his free time, he dreams about earning a D.Min centering on interreligious contemplative spiritual practices.
Once upon a time, Nathan had a viral blog post about hugging a man in his underwear, which became the catalyst for his book, Embracing Love: My Journey to Hugging a Man in his Underwear. Nathan maintains a plant-based diet, enjoys contemplative spiritual practices, is addicted to personality tests, has a mild obsession with sea glass, and loves the Oxford Comma. Nathan and his wife have two sons.
