In this episode, I interview Ray McKinnon, a minister who has been at the Charlotte protests in recent days. He shares his story of being present at the Charlotte protests as they turned from peaceful to violent, his heart for humanizing both police officers and protestors, and what it is like for him to be an African American minister in North Carolina. This is a special episode in response to the mass shooting at Pulse in Orlando, to honor the lives lost, and challenge each of us to have our actions speak louder than words.
